Hello and welcome to Year 4!

I hope that you have had a fantastic holiday and are ready to start the new half term.

 

Miss Morrill is the Year 4 teacher. 

We are supported every morning by Mrs Morton and Mrs Plastow. 

Mrs Oliver and Mrs Binns also help in our class. 

There are currently 34 children in the class.

 

Our Spring Term Big Question is:

Who lived in Prehistoric Britain?

In Maths we will look at fractions.     

In Literacy we will be looking in depth at a book called The Winter's Child. 

In Science we are going to look at Human Nutrition. 

PE is now on Monday

Swimming is on Tuesday. Please can I remind you that swimming is an important part of the curriculum. If your child is in school and well enough to take part in a PE lesson, they should be attending swimming. 

Please remember to bring your PE kit, book bag with everything you need in it and your water bottle. You need these with you everyday.

In our class we enjoy reading in the book corner because there are lots of exciting and funny books.
