EASTER SERVICE & EGG DECORATING
Our pupils attended an Easter Service, at Holy Trinity Church which was very ably lead by Year 3.
An Easter egg decorating competition also took place this week, with some marvelous and creative entries.
RED NOSE DAY 2017
Red Nose day 2017 saw pupils and staff at John Harrison dressing up and dancing the day away!
Everyone took turns in an all day dance-a-thon, which raised a fantastic £213.57 - well done to everyone who took part and donated to this worthy cause.
FOBS MOTHER'S DAY GIFTS
Our pupils were, once again, able to choose from a wonderful selection of beautiful plants. Our thanks go to FOBS for organising this event and to Gooseman's Growers for their very kind donation. A total of £140 was raised, which will allow FOBS to buy items for our children to use which otherwise may not be available.
MATHS CHALLENGE
Four of our pupils recently formed a team and took part in the Maths Challenge event held at Baysgarth School. Seven schools in the area took part and we are delighted to say that we came 1st! The event consisted of individual as well as collective challenges. Well done to Beth, Ruby, Joshua and Jasmine.

BIG BASH EVENT
Five of our pupils recently travelled to The Baths Hall Scunthorpe to take part in a 'Big Bash' musical event. A fun filled musical day was enjoyed by Beth, Emily, Mattis, Jasmine and Charlie.
ATHLETICS EVENT AT BAYSGARTH SCHOOL
Our Year 4 pupils attended an Athletics event at Baysgarth School. Team A achieved 3rd place and Team B achieved 7th place Well done to all who took part.
SAT INFORMATION SESSIONS
SAT information sessions were held in school, giving parents an opportunity to find out more about the assessment process and ask any questions.
Parents of pupils in Years 1 and 2 as well as in Years 5 and 6 were invited to attend either the afternoon or evening session.
