LUNCHEON CLUB CHRISTMAS LUNCH

Our Luncheon Group enjoyed a delicious festive lunch today. Not only that but raffle prizes and being entertained by our school choir

Pupils submitted application forms to apply for various job positions around the school.  Successful applicants were:

Well done to those pupils, who took to their new roles wonderfully.

ROTARY CHRISTMAS BOXES

Once again, we took part in the Rotary Christmas Box Appeal.  Our photograph shows Mr Peter Kipling collecting our contributions - ably assisted by Evie and Oliver.

CHRISTMAS FAIR

A marvelous time was had by all at our Christmas Fair.  Lots of fun, games, food and excitement.  We managed to raise a fabulous £829.52!  Thank you to everyone who supported this event.

SCHOOL CHOIR COMPETITION WINNERS!

Pride alert! The Choir entered a competition before half term called ‘Sing a song for Christmas’ and won! Not only did they win but they were asked to sing at the official switch on of the Christmas lights in Scunthorpe and been awarded a magnificent prize of £1,500 - well done.

YEARS 3 & 4 PERFORMANCE POETRY

In the first week back, Years 3 and 4 did some Performance Poetry.  The poem was called I'm ill.  The pupils thought about projecting their voices, actions and team work - as well as learning their work off by heart.

HARVEST FESTIVAL

Harvest Festival

Our annual Harvest Festival raised a marvellous £84.60 from the sale of donations of fruit, vegetables or other food stuffs. Thank you to all who donated/purchased.

Proceeds going towards the Luncheon Club for our Senior Citizens Christmas lunch.

PHONICS OPEN AFTERNOON

Foundation class hosted a 'Phonics Open Afternoon' this week.  Parents were invited to a brief information session, followed by the opportunity to take part in some of the fun phonics activities.

Hymns, readings, poems and prayers - a moving service, in Holy Trinity Church, lead by Year 6.
